LIFETIME WARRANTY ON FINISH, MATERIALS, AND WORKSMANSHIP

Belle Foret faucet products are manufactured to meet the highest quality and workmanship. The manufacturer warrants to the purchaser that the faucet will be leak and drip-free during normal domestic use. If, however, this faucet should ever develop a leak or drip, the manufacturer will provide the parts necessary, free of charge, to put the faucet back in good working condition. Defects or damage caused by use of other than authorized parts are not covered by this warranty. This warranty shall be effective from the date of purchase as shown on purchaser's receipt. Some states do not allow limitations on how long a warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty is valid for the original purchaser only and excludes industrial, commercial, or business use of the product, product misuse, product damage due to installation error, whether performed by a contractor, service company, or yourself. The manufacturer will not be responsible for labor charges or for damage incurred during installation, repair or replacement, nor for incidental or consequential damage. Belle Forêt Copper Basin Maintenance and Warranty Information

Your Belle Forêt and Schon copper basin is a living finish – no two will be identical and any item or liquid coming into contact with your sink can affect the color. Over time, these “Living Finishes” will vary in color and tone, adding character and uniqueness to your Belle Forêt basin.

Please inspect your basin carefully before installing, as Belle Forêt does not warrant the finish after installation. Maintenance Instructions

  1. Prior to first use, wipe basin with a dry cloth.
  2. Wipe dry immediately after each use.
  3. Applying a soft wax such as “Faucet & Fixture wax” (by Flitz: www.flitz.com/ faucetandfixturewax.htm). or Pledge furniture polish can add a temporary protective coating.
  4. NEVER use polishes with abrasives or rubbing compound, nor cleansers with abrasives (including “Soft Scrub” type) on your Belle Forêt basin. Important to remember: living finishes have no protective coatings. They are designed to change with time and use. Belle Forêt Weathered Copper and Oil Rubbed Bronze basins are finished to coordinate with Belle Forêt faucet finishes.

Belle Forêt Stone Basin Maintenance and Warranty Information

Your Belle Forêt stone vessel is a natural stone that is hard and durable. Marble has an absorption factor that allows liquids that contact the surface to affect the color of the basin. A proper maintenance of the vessel will help protect the beauty of the stone. Please inspect your stone vessel carefully before installing, as Belle Forêt does not warrant the finish after installation. Maintenance Instructions
  1. After installation, carefully clean your Belle Forêt stone vessel with a marble cleaner/ sealer such as Faucet & Fixture wax (by Flitz: www.flitz.com/ faucetandfixturewax.htm).
  2. Wipe dry immediately after each use. Do not allow water spots to dry on the vessel.
  3. Applying a marble wax (see #1) can provide a temporary protective coating against daily use.
  4. NEVER use cleansers with abrasives (including “Soft Scrub” type) nor harsh chemicals on your Belle Forêt stone vessel. Important to remember: To help keep you basins beautiful, keep them cleaned and dry immediately after use.

What This Warranty Covers

Elizabethan Classics warrants that our faucets are free from manufacturing, mechanical and finish defects, including leaks.

What this Warranty Does Not Cover

Damage to the product that has been caused by improper installation, accident, misuse (whether performed by a contractor, service company or others) or abuse (including the use of harsh or abrasive chemicals) is not covered by this warranty. This warranty also does not cover any consequential or incidental damages attributable to a faucet defect or to the repair or exchange of a faucet, all of which are expressly excluded from this limited warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

What the Period of Coverage is

The coverage of this warranty is for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase.

What We Will Do to Correct Problems

At our option, Elizabethan Classics will either replace the defective part of the faucet, or replace the faucet, excluding labor and other costs incurred in installation, repair or replacement.

Who is Covered

This warranty is valid for the original consumer/purchaser only, and excludes industrial, commercial, or business use of the product.

Elizabethan Classics (E.C.) warrants, to the initial consumer purchaser, the Cast Iron Legtub to be free of manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship from the date of initial purchase to two years after the initial consumer purchaser owns the tub, provided: (1) the tub has not been moved from its original place of installation; (2) the tub has not been subjected to abuse, facility maintenance, accidental or miscellaneous damage; (3) the tub was installed according to the Elizabethan Classics instructions provided; and (4) the tub has not been modified in any manner.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

Damage to the product that has been caused by improper installation, accident, misuse (whether caused by the owner, a contractor, service company or others) or abuse (including the use of harsh or abrasive cleansers) regardless of whether such damage has been incurred during handling or shipping, is not covered by this warranty. This warranty specifically does not cover local building code compliance. The purchaser of Elizabethan Classics tub should determine from a local building and/or plumbing official assurance of local code compliance prior to installation, since building codes vary considerably across the country. This warranty also does not cover any consequential or incidental damages attributable to a tub defect or to the repair or exchange of a tub, all of which are expressly excluded from this limited warranty. Schön warrants to the original purchaser of our stainless steel sinks that, for a lifetime of normal residential use, Schön will replace the sink if it fails due to manufacturing defect. Schon warrants it's copper and stone sinks to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for two years from the invoice date. Belle Forêt warranty does not apply to the copper or stone finish. These are living finishes that will turn and change over time naturally (patina). This warranty shall be effective from date of purchase as shown on purchaser’s receipt. This warranty is valid for original purchaser only and excludes industrial, commercial or business use of the product, product misuse, or product damage due to installation error, whether preformed by a contractor, service company or yourself.
